We are delighted to have the Springer Dog Club at the Show this year.

The Springers dog club will also be appearing in 2017.

So you'll have the chance to see the dogs doing agility and flyball plus having a go with your own dog or one of the club's  dogs.

Rotary International

The Saddleworth Summer Show is organised by two local clubs of Rotary International - the largest service club in the world.

Surplus Funds from the show will go to Charities and Community Projects supported by Rotary.

Rotarians give their services free, so there are no administrative costs taken from the money raised.

Music at the Saddleworth Show

Music at the Saddleworth Show 2017 is now being finalized

Please use the Guidance document and Registration form if you would like to take part.

Once again Music and the performing arts will be an important  element at this year’s Saddleworth Show, with the day giving us the opportunity to show off and cater for a wide range of tastes.

There will be a stage featuring a Brass Band and Rock Choir and across the day there will be a Young Performers Showcase. This will include individual and small groups or Bands, presenting  instrumental, vocal or active e.g. Dance or acting performances.

Young Performers’ Showcase of Dance, Drama and Music

Our very successful formula for young performers in recent years has drawn in some excellent dancers, singers and musicians. We are pleased that many of these will be coming again this year but our Adjudicator Clara Darcy, herself a star in all three performance disciplines, has suggested we give more room for individual/solo dancessolo or group instrumentalists  or singers and acting   featuring group scenes and monologues.  Given that there is so much young talent in our catchment area and we have  7 hours available on the day, we would welcome entries in all of these categories.
